Blair Martin, Financial Professional, AIF®

Managing Partner

Blair Martin is the Managing Partner of Stonebridge Financial Group and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) with more than two decades of experience guiding individuals, families and business owners through complex financial decisions with clarity, discipline and purpose.

Blair began his career in financial services in 2001 with American Express Financial Advisors, where he built a foundation rooted in comprehensive financial planning and individualized, goal-based advice. In 2004, he was recruited to Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley), expanding his expertise to include corporate retirement solutions and executive benefits. During this phase of his career, Blair advised business owners and executives on sophisticated strategies including 401(k) plans, SEP IRAs, Solo 401(k)s, cash balance plans and deferred compensation structures.

In 2009, Blair joined AXA—now Equitable—where he founded Stonebridge Financial Group, an elite advisor group recognized for its planning-first philosophy, high standards of fiduciary care, and collaborative culture. Under Blair’s leadership, Stonebridge has grown into a respected advisory practice serving high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and multi-generational households, with a particular focus on tax-efficient wealth building, business succession planning and integrated financial roadmapping.

Blair holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and French from the University of Oregon, as well as an Associate Degree in Viticulture—an expression of both his analytical mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. He applies this expertise in his family’s wine business, Toby Lane Vineyards, reinforcing his hands-on understanding of business ownership, capital allocation and long-term value creation.

A lifelong resident of Marin County, Blair lives with his wife, Jana and their two children, Peyton and Logan, who attend Catholic school. Outside the office, he is an avid outdoorsman and deeply values health, discipline and time spent with family. These personal priorities shape his professional philosophy: helping people align their financial lives with what matters most.

Blair is widely respected not only for his technical expertise, but for his leadership and commitment to culture. He is a builder of teams, a mentor to advisors and a visionary CEO who believes that great outcomes are created through trust, transparency and shared accountability. His greatest professional satisfaction comes from seeing clients’ lives improve—watching families gain confidence, business owners make better decisions, and long-held dreams become attainable through thoughtful planning.

His professional recognition includes over a decade as a member of Equitable’s Pinnacle Group, acknowledgment by AdvisorHub as one of the industry’s advisors to watch, and recognition as an Honor Guard recipient for his commitment to service and giving back.

Blair is also deeply engaged in his community. He is a passionate advocate for the special needs community through his support of his brother, Randall and his involvement with Lifehouse, a Marin County organization dedicated to empowering adults with developmental disabilities. In addition, he serves as a board member of Urban Village Farmers Markets, supporting local food systems and community-based commerce.

Across generations—from young professionals building their first financial foundation, to business owners scaling or exiting their companies, to families stewarding wealth across decades—Blair brings a steady, principled approach grounded in fiduciary responsibility, tax awareness and long-term thinking. His mission is simple and enduring: to help people make better decisions with their money, live with greater intention and build financial strategies that support the lives they truly want to lead.
